George Tomko on Oct 24.2008. According to Dave Sierzega, George had sold his house in Chicago, was living temporarily in Munster, IN and was planning to move to Florida.

GEORGE JAMES TOMKO FORMERLY OF CHICAGO, IL George James Tomko, age 58, formerly of the South Side of Chicago, died unexpectedly on October 24, 2008. Preceded in death by parents: George and Helen Tomko. Survived by sisters: Mary (John) Leone and Ruth Mazzarelli; nephews: Sam and Andrew Mazzarelli; and many dear relatives and friends. George was a graduate of Mendel High School Class of 1968. Visitation will be held Tuesday, October 28,2008 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. at Burns-Kish Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Ave., Munster, IN. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 29,2008 at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at St. Maria Goretti Church, 500 Northgate Drive, Dyer, IN. Friends may gather in the church at 9:30 a.m. Burial will take place at St.Mary Cemetery,Evergreen Park, IL. Information: (219) 836-5000.

October Update

Found a few more 68s, mostly corrections of bogus addresses. Dan Gregor, Ted Gregori, Pete Lorenzini, Marty Fadden, Ralph Yeager and Joe Bachta. Dave Olsen surfaced at the golf outing but we don't have contact information. Have not heard of any additional RIPs -which is good.
